Kindles don’t have gps, so this is absolutely the next best thing. This is a map of the whole world, you can zoom in or out as much as you’d like (I zoomed in enough to see the street I live on, but of course it’s just a map and not sattelite view). If you have somebody that’s good with maps and giving directions from maps, this is a very compact, very easy, map to hand over and say “here, you navigate, I’m driving”. I love it.

|I think I like this app,
I’m still not certain how this app will work without a wi-fi connection, but trying it on airplane mode seemed to enable me to retrieve widespread map information after I downloaded it. Still, I may want to have paper maps when traveling in the middle of nowhere. The lack of much instruction for the app makes it harder to be certain what it can and can’t do.

|Nice to have this option, but could be better,
This is something I’ve been looking for, as I need WiFI access for my Kindle Fire to access the Internet. Unless I missed something, you can’t seem to get directions with this program…that would be a big plus if you could. I don’t need to have GPS type of directions, but to be able to see the route on the map would be nice.
