First off, I knew exactly where this was going to end when they brought up love potion. It was obvious she was gonna end up with Ben in the end! It was like I had already read it. Usually, books make up for predictability by using interesting, different ways of getting to the predictable ending. This showed no such thing. Second, the relationship with Ben was not developed enough. I feel like all you knew about was Chase, which I guess was all that was on her mind. Still, Pheobe could’ve had previous meetings with him other than the ice cream shop (which was terribly laid out). She could’ve thought to her self, hmm Ben is sneaking into my heart, but my heart belongs to Chase. It really bothered me that romance really only started to bloom near the end. For the majority of the beginning of the book you didn’t even know Ben existed. Third, there were too many spelling and grammar errors. That’s already a pet peeve of mine and some of these were just plain simple. There was an “I” in the middle of nowhere in a sentence! Better editing should’ve been done. Also, throughout the whole book (personal opinion) you think think to yourself wow, Pheobe is really stupid! All of these contribute to a very less than entertaining, unoriginal, predictable, not so great book. Even all the good quotes were unoriginal!

This book, Lovesessed, is a teen obsession. It’s a good thing its free. It was about a obsessed teenage girl who creates a “love anti-dote”. It used words like embrace and warmth and beautiful energy, but talks about a love potion. This book also had alot of spelling and grammar errors. No wonder it’s free.

Honestly, I disliked the book. Nothing like what I had expected. Besides the fact that it was short, therefore rushed, the main character was annoying. She was an obsessed teenager who didn’t know what she wanted. She was plain and boring and kind of irritating. The superstar Chase used cheesy pickup lines and the whole idea of a love potion was just random.
