I bought this game 3 days ago and I have played it for probably about 20 hours in those three days. The graphics are amazing with no draw-ins or flaws to be found. The tracks are varied so you never get bored and the game play never seems repetitive. Once you win a race (in Adventure mode; there are about 6 different modes of play and you can choose the difficulty level) you have to go back over the same track to obtain the letters ‘C’ ‘T’ and ‘R’ and win the race again; once you are through with that you go back and try to win a “gem” by having an amazingly quick time. Once you win four races you race the boss one on one. With all of this to do the replay value seems endless. This is by far my favorite racing game (a lot more fun than Gran Turismo) and favorite game overall for the time being. If you don’t have this game – GET IT! If you have this game – stop reading this and go play it!

This game is one of those great games that are fun to play with family and friends, and the one that you always end up playing over-and-over. It’s great for people who like Crash Bandicoot games or just like to have fun. It has many great features such as: aventure-race through worlds to collect trophies, talismans, and relics to enter boss races, championships, etc. arcade- 1 or 2 player: the racing with other characters in one of different 25 tracks or a cup race. plus you get to shoot the other racers with rockets, bombs, trap them, ram them, hit them, push them off the road, almost anything you want. vs. – 2player game with only each other to trick and beat this time. battle(a 2-player game) – great!!! battle it out in an area where players can shoot each other with boms or rockets, ram each other, using all the powerups, trap each other onto tnts, etc.
A great game for people of any age!!

This game is just AMAZING! I really, really mean this. DO NOT by Chocobo Racing. Buy this.
The graphics in this game are lush, colorful, fast, without any pop-up(how did they do it?), and are just fun to look at. Even in two player mode, there’s no real frame-rate reduction(!).
The controls are both easy and realistic(sounds weird saying this, for this game being a kart game). The control demands both brake and gas, not just slamming on the gas. And, if you do a “skid” right, you’ll get a free turbo. Master this even, and you can turbo down a whole race.
There are some modes, including: Adventure, Time Trial, VS. and even Battle mode. The adventure mode is the heart of this game; you’ll get to race around in a beautiful world. Time Trials are best put this way: You race alone. And the VS. and Battle modes are just spetacular, containing hours of fun either racing your friend or blowing him to smithereens.
There really is no bad side to this game, and if there is, it’s almost transparent or something to do with repetivity(is there such a word?).
This IS the “Mario Kart” for the Playstation, if you wanted to know. Buy this at all costs.
