A definite ‘Must Have’ for beginning water gardeners, May 16, 2007

The cover pulled me in. I was in the process of designing that very same ’round’ pool, in a similar patio.

But the interior of the book is what convinced me that the price was more than worth it.

The photo images are crisp and beautiful, the text easy to understand and the entire book is a grand encouragement to creativity.

This book is now one of the treasured volumes in my personl library.

Anna Marie Fritz, author and artist (and water gardener).

We had borrowed this book from the library while planning our pond and thought it was so good that we wanted to buy it to have as reference. Excellent reference for design, plants and fish.

Vague at best, January 29, 1999

I found this book to be less than informative, and very vague when it came to waterfalls. With regard to a pond it was very good, but fell very short of how to design, install, and maitain a waterfall. In fact the waterfall information was on about 4 pages total. Not worth the purchase.

A nice book with great pictures at a good price, February 22, 1999
    By A Customer

Although this book is not as comprehensive as some of the other texts on water gardens, it has a wonderful assortment of pictures (which is always nice for “ideas”). The price was low-end and I think what is contained is reasonable for this smaller book.

For the low cost of the book I’d recommend it to any beginner or experienced person looking for ideas and inspiration on their next project.
