I bought this after extensive reading of many products available and trying a name-brand Roach and Ant spray. Our problem was that we have one cat that is an outdoor pet and is normally fed and watered on our back steps. Each summer we have been having roach problems as well as ants invading the food bowl after an hour or so. The roaches and ants were in the garage and driveway as well as occasionally in the house. I mixed up a couple of gallons according to the directions and sprayed all the cracks and crevices around the back steps as well as around the entire house foundation.
The next morning the back patio was covered with a varity of dead or dying bugs. After about one week, I have not seen a single live roach or ant around the outside of our house.
After reading about the active ingredient (Deltamethrin) and the fact that this product was recommended for use around food preparation areas, I lightly sprayed around the baseboards and in corners in our kitchen and pantry areas. One important attribute of this product is its low toxicity to warm bloodied animals as we have three cats and a parrot. So far, so good, as it has been about one week since the first treatment.
Amazon’s price for this product is the best by far and the shipping was very prompt.
I would defiantly buy this again, but with the dilution rate used (1 1/2 oz. per gallon of water), this will last me for several years. I have already recommended it to my neighboors, if they are experiencing a similar problem.

After several months without invading insects, I realize that I made one mistake. I loaned the remainder of the spray (about 3/4 remaining) to my son-in-law to use at his house. Now I see a few roaches in the attic (I did not spray there last time) and I am trying to get the spray back so that I can finish the job. Good luck with that! However at this price, I can afford to replace it without breaking the bank. This one will be a secret -

This stuff is great. I built a new home and within a few weeks had black widows, crickets, silverfish, and roaches. Would see and kill them about everyday. Since I used this stuff I have not seen an single bug inside my house.

This stuff is very potent and long lasting – up to a month. In the State of Washington and a few others, retail pesticide companies only sell to professionals. A consumer can only obtain this chemical through mail order or use ebay.com auctions.
    .
Its effectiveness, according to two people in the pesticide field, is due to its unique property. The killing chemical is mixed together with a sticky sugar. Under the microscope, it looks like tiny balls. When an insect walks through an area that was sprayed with Suspend, it stops to eat the delicious substance and dies. If it is not hungry and continues to walk, it steps on one or more of the tiny balls. They stick to its legs.
    .
Later on during the day, the insect does personal grooming, the critter cleans itself by licking Suspend off its legs. In the process, it ingests the poison.
    .
The pesticide is known to cause allergic reactions to a few people. . . . My wife is allergic to everything, but Suspend is not one of them.
