Ideal pen for left handed children,
After much frustration with letter formation and finding the right grip for my first grader I figured there must be a pen specifically designed for left handed children. I did not find much on the market that was reasonably priced, but I remembered the ink pens I used in school in Germany as a child – Stabilo and Pelikan are the two famous German writing utensils companies whose names came to mind. I did not want to mess with the fountain ink and gave this one a try and we love it! It comes with three refills that last a long time, has finger guides to promote the correct grip and the ink comes out smoothly in a beautiful blue color that does not smudge. The light tilt allows her to see what she is writing. My daughter loves the pink colors and the pen comes with labels to write the child’s name on it. ( Great in a classroom setting in case it comes missing) Overall I am very happy with the purchase.

Great pen for lefties,
I am 30+ years old and still have occasional difficulties with finding a comfortable tool for writing. I have been using the Stabilo Move Easy pen for about a month now and so far have no complaints. The grip is very comfortable it writes beautifully, but by far the best feature is the unique placement of the finger grips makes the pen too difficult for my right handed coworkers to use so I don’t have to worry about anyone walking away with it.

Great Idea, Terrible Execution,
I will start by saying I have used the Stabilo colored pens as writing utensils for years. I love how smoothly and beautifully they write, plus the colors are great. Because of my experience with the brand, I had high expectations for the pen. Unfortunately, despite being comfortable to hold, the pen writes poorly. The ink, when flowing at all, is blotchy and uneven. Plus the tip it very thick making it difficult for me since I have fairly small handwriting.
I would suggest this pen for young left-handed kids just learning how to write. The grip combined with the curved shape does allow the writer to better see whats on the page, which would have helped me as a kid.
