The Best for Little Lefty!,
As a right-handed mother of a left-handed child, these chopsticks were a godsend.
(I’ve found it’s very difficult to mirror one’s movements with a nondominant hand)
They are very easy to use, lightweight, and comfortable to handle. The rings for the first and middle finger are made of a silicone/rubbery material, not rigid plastic, and the little plastic “tabs” help to keep other fingers in position. The hinge moves easily and freely. My 8 year old began practicing by picking up every small item she could possibly get her sticks on, and she managed to consume a plate of scrambled eggs with the dexterity of an expert chopsticks wrangler.
While these may be found locally at an Asian grocer, the left-handed styles are particularly rare, so if you’ve found them here, I highly recommend purchasing via Amazon. :]
