This review is from: Plantronics MDA200 Headset Communications Hub – US Warranty – Black (Wireless Phone Accessory)

The product arrived on time and the merchant involvement was great. Unfortunately, there is an issue with compatibility that is not in any of the upfront information. There is only a limited number of Plantronics headsets that will work with this switch. My Audio 995 is not one of them. I only found this issue after searching through support documentation after the product arrived and would not work. There are only a limited number of wireless headsets that will work with this product and all of them cost about $300 +. My Audio 995 costs about 60 bucks.

My biggest issue is that a picture of my headset dongle is used in the owner’s manual, which would imply compatibility. Also, you would expect a product from Plantronics to be compatible with their own equipment. This is not a listed issue anywhere in the upfront advertising or in any of the documentation you would normally search when purchasing a product. I found it quite deceptive, as the only way I found out about this compatibility issue was searching the common knowledge database in support. I will not be returning the item, as the merchant has done nothing incorrect. However, it will be a long time before I stepped foot into anything related to Plantronics.
