Will NOT save small dogs if they fall in…,
We installed over the weekend-DRILLED INTO OUR IN GROUND POOL DESIGN! Unfortunately it is way too small for our dogs, a miniture schnauzer and a jack russell under 12lbs. The steps are too narrow for a small dog to grab on with their back paws. They held on to the edge and were flailing trying to get their back legs to hold and grip to pull themselves up. I wish it worked!!!
I understand the product video was a selling point, but perhaps only dogs with very short legs can use this…I mean TINY little legs…because our dogs are BOTH small-the Schnauzer is 9 lbs-the jack slightly more and they would both drown with this item. Sorry…I really wish it did work.

This product works as demonstrated however I may be purchasing an additional one to place side by side as its narrow and my cocker is hesitant to use.

|Cute bath toy,
I bought the Alligator Family Bath Toy for my son’s second birthday, and he really enjoys playing with it at bath time. The baby gators are very cute, and the momma has a flat back so that the babies can ride without falling off. Then again, my son throws the babies in the water and uses the momma gator as a sort of ferry for his matchbox cars! So it’s kind of a multi-purpose toy, I suppose. There are no sharp edges (or teeth) on the toy–all corners are nicely rounded and pleasing to the touch.

|Would be great if it didn’t suck up water…,
My daughter seems to get some enjoyment out of this toy, but the big problem in my view is that it sucks in water through a hole in the bottom, even thought it is not meant to be a “squirting” bath toy. This both causes the big alligator to lean to one side and is also a potential cause of mold, and it’s also not easy to get the water out. The little alligators have holes as well, so also suck in water. I’m not sure why the manufacturer didn’t seal the toys to make them “waterproof” but I wouldn’t recommend them based on this design flaw.

|Alligatior Toy,
I bought this product for my 2 year old triplets, we used it in our outdoor pool for them they loved it. Good value and I would buy it again nthey loved it. Durable product just let it dry overnight outside and it works great I am sure it would be just as good in the bathtub.
