Beautiful light,
I love having this light. It fits standard size CFL bulbs with ease, and I’m able to have great illumination with just 2 of them. The shade diffuses light evenly and beautifully, and the whole fixture, although low profile, is elegant and stylish. The photograph shows snow white shade of the fixture overall, but in reality, the bottom piece, which is glass has a greenish tint to it (it’s more pronounced when the light is off). Luckily it fit into my decor perfectly.
The assembly was rather challenging, hence -1 star. First and foremost, holding bracket screws and twist on wire connectors are not included (???). Secondly, the whole installation process is a 2 person operation because it’s tension that holds the assembly together and nothing is clamped in any way: two stainless steel rings cap the shade with the bottom glass piece resting on top the the lower ring – fixture then is secured with the screw on cap from the bottom. It’s a process and a balancing act to get everything to fit and align just right. Not an easy installation, but now that the light is up, it’s just beautiful and I love it BUT I’m not looking forward to changing light bulbs one day because it would have to be fully disassembled and reassembled again.
