Cindy Adkins’ books are fantastic! This book, “Mixed Media Art: Living Your Passion” is no exception to her brilliant way of giving back from the heart! All who want to learn how to try this extra ordinary form of art, will learn from a true Artist! Cindy is very accomplished, holds a Masters’s Degree, is an Author, newspaper writer and gallery artist. I’ve never met an artist who is so willing to teach for just the love of teaching, sharing, giving back to other “hidden artists.”

That’s what I call myself – and in a simple, easy to understand, with beautifully demonstrated illustrations, Cindy has inspired me to look beyond just craft stores, and use everything and anything in her new book! Mixing new and old, reusing those beauties that might otherwise be discarded, trying the unexpected, to bring the beauty we see on the inside out and share it with others! There are tons of ways to scrapbook, make cards, altered items and more. Let Cindy share her love of art, and life, with you and make them even more beautiful and exciting!

You will enjoy this book, love her passion for art and learn to find “hidden artist” within you!

    Enjoy creating ~ Donna

Cindy’s love of life and passion for her art and writing is clearly evident in her new book, “Mixed Media Art: Living Your Passion”. I felt her excitement with every word I read.
Cindy shares tips, tricks and hints with each of the artful ideas presented. She shares the names of the graphic’s companies she uses when she creates her amazing art. All of her information is truly from her very big heart.
What I also love about how Cindy wrote this e-book, is how she inserts links that we can click to view her beautiful art or go to a site of interest. It’s like hidden surprises in a book!
This is a must have book for any creative soul; it’s upbeat positive and inspiring. It gets you mojo, your muse flowing again!

Little to no actual instruction in this book, just some ideas that you probably have already had if you’ve been doing any mixed media work. I’m not really sure why this has gotten so many good reviews, as there’s really nothing to it.
