Best iPhone case for the 4S,
This case is amazing, simply put! I tested A LOT of cases for my iPhone 4S, especially looking for one that doesn’t interfere with any type of screen protector I have. I finally found it. the Magpul Field Case (Made in the USA!!) is exceptional. The texture is perfect, ribbed back provides grip, and the remaining case is texturized to help, but not too grippy for pulling it in and out of my pocket with ease. This case replaces my OtterBox Commuter, which also was a great case, but I found that the silicone inner lining that wraps around the screen edge became “soft” after a while and didn’t keep it;s stiff shape. Because of this, it kept picking up the edges of my screen protector. Also the rubber flaps that cover the data and headphone ports because annoying after a while.
This case doesn’t have the port flaps (good or bad, whichever you prefer) and the case is firm, yet easy to take the phone in and out. AND most importantly to me, it doesn’t interfere with my NakedShield screen protector because the case is molded to “grab” onto the outer metal ring built in to the phone and it doesn’t actually touch the glass screen at all. Plus, the Field Case protrudes HIGHER than the glass surface a bit so you don’t have to worry about placing the phone screen down. It is my understanding that the Magpul Executive case offers a more flush surface with the glass screen and edge of the case, although I have not seen it in person.
Being former military, I really like my OD Green color I ordered for my black iPhone 4S, and the material and product is just as exceptional as the Magpul products I used in Iraq. Now in law enforcement, I am not worried whatsoever about my phone I carry in my shirt pocket and the times that I drop it. I have used it for about two weeks now and have zero complaints. All of my third party headphone jacks plug in nicely, but I do need to use a data port extender when I put my phone (in the case) on my Vizio iPhone/iPod stereo because the case is too thick for the phone to sit all the way down on the built in data port connector on the stereo. My wife also loved my case and she just received her pink Magpul Field Case from Amazon in the mail and she is also telling me how much she loves it.

Well it’s in my hand right now!! It’s thin enough to fit in to duty shirts front pocket with out interfearing with other items. It pulls out smooth but still has enough grip to not slip out of your hands in use. Perfect color green and fits the 4s nice.

|A minimal case that offers a fair amount of protection,
I bought this case after having an Otterbox and a Ballistic Case for my iPhone 4s. I wanted something that didn’t make my phone super huge. This along with a screen protector is good enough for my uses.
Shipping from botach via Amazon is pretty reliable despite what is written out there on the interwebs about botach.
