I bought this for my girlfriend on our first anniversary and she loved it! Be careful if you want to engrave letters on it because of the thin layer of paint it has.

|Bigger than expeted but overall good quality,
This was much bigger than I had expected. The heart is about 5 1/2 inches from the bottom point to the middle top of the closed shackle. The heart padlock is almost 4 1/2 inches at the widest portion. . The key is about 3 1/2 inches from top to bottom and about 1 3/4 inches long. It is painted black and the paint can be scratched off with a screwdriver or other metal object. It is also heavy feeling. The design on the front is etched into the metal. The metal cannnot be bent by your hands. The key hole cover in the middle/front of the heart moves/swings on a brad. The key is also made of strong non-bending metal painted black. It has a kind of rough matte finish feeling.

I wanted to give a symbolic gift and this is what I imagined and MORE! This lock is a treasure and opens/closes magnetically. The key contains a magnet that can only work if the keyhole cover is in the correct position. = ) I’m at a loss for words. I love it. Thank you!!!!
