Great replacement knob,
After I purchased this knob to replace the one that was lost, I got the usual automated e-mail from Amazon asking me to review my purchase. So here goes.
This is not the first time I have ever had to replace a knob on one of the vehicles I have owned through the years, but it is the first knob that I have had to obtain for this particular car (a 1999 Jeep Wrangler Sahara hardtop). I must say, it is one of the finest knobs I have ever purchased. It was the right color, it fit right where it was made to go, and it functions perfectly. Now, my son is again able to operate his air conditioner. I love my son, and it grieved my soul that he had to go some time in our hot Savannah summer without air conditioning in his car. Knowing that he can travel in comfort gives me great peace of mind, and the credit goes to this wonderful knob. If you are in the market for an a/c knob for your Jeep, I can think of no finer knob. I give this knob my whole-hearted highest recommendation. If you decide to buy one, I am confident that you will love your knob as much as I do mine.

After searching thru Mopar replacement parts on line, since my local Jeep dealer went under, I could not find this part unless I ordered a trim kit or heater control replacement. Mini vise grips were a definite help but fairly junkyard looking. I never imagined to look to Amazon for OEM parts for my Jeep.
The price was much lower than expected and they arrived in four days thru regular shipping, They fit perfectly, so to the review that said they stuck out may have had the little metal retaining clip still on the fan control selector shaft. And by the way, thanks Amazon

|Climate Control Knob – it is what it is!,
I purchased this for my 2005 Jeep Wrangler after I had discovered that the factory knob had been stripped out from use – a common issue from my research. I received the product in a very timely manner and with corresponding paperwork. The knob was easy to install and matched the dash and other controls perfectly.
