Hydroponics : A Complete DIY Guide For Gardening Using Simple Steps: Hydroponics Builders Guide For Beginners And Intermediate Gardeners

One way of describing ‘hydroponics’ is that it is a method involving plants that are being grown using certain kinds of nutrients and water but without the use of soil. By certain means, water must be sent to the area of the plant root. The system may be surrounded by a particular container or trough that is crammed with substrate; the substrate is an alternative to soil. Some materials that can be found in this soil substitute are wood chips, pebbles, sand and perlite, among others. The sub

Complete garbage and I’m sorry I wasted my money on it. Very short and very light on detail and sometimes the sentences don’t even make sense. There is nothing “DIY” about it – just vague descriptions of concepts. If you’ve ever watered a housplant, you are probably too advanced for this book.

I wasn’t thrilled with this kindle book. Having been involved with gardening of almost every method, I decided to learn more about hydroponics. The book does supply what I would consider basic information but little more. I was interested in blending my own nutrient solutions instead of buying over priced retail plant food. I also wanted to better understand the chemistry, such as PH,dissolved solids and learn how to correct these if there was a problem. Aero-ponics was not described in detail at all. While basic topics are mentioned, I didn’t feel that I had my questions answered. I have found that youtube was pretty good source of information, though you have to sift through all the cannabis growing stuff. Overall I would give this 4 stars because it establishes a foundation for the novice grower. If you have been using hydroponics for any length of time this is not your book.

I have been gardening for years, I have heard of this method before, but never considered trying it until now.
The author has made the method sound so simple and easy. I definitely recommend buying this book
If for no other reason, but to have a better understanding of how this great method works. I can’t wait
to try this for my self.
