What I really love about these Glad Quick-Tie Tall Kitchen Bags is that the 4 flaps make quick work of tying up and disposing of these bags — I really don’t care for twist ties – or draw strings for that matter. Draw strings may be seemingly convenient, but the trouble is, they sometimes rip through the plastic sleeve, especially when you tug on them to heave a heavy bag out of a trash can.

The flaps on the Glad Quick-Tie bags, on the other hand, hold up much better to heavy weights. Just tie the 2 opposing flaps to form two intersecting “handles”. These two handles together will hold up to a lot of tugging and heaving. The bags themselves are very strong and will hold a lot of weight (These bags boast a “3-ply strength”).

The Glad Quick-Tie Tall Kitchen Bags are not only strong, they are easy to tie up and dispose of. Highly recommended.

I have price pointed several garbage bags and these are by far the cheapest that hold up and won’t bust. We have over the past 5 years of using these bags run into maybe 2-3 bags that get a hold from something sharp, but not nearly as bad as the hefty bags.

My father in law bought us a package and I could not wait until they were gone. They had a drawstring that he raved about the bags were then and aways quick to rip leaving a huge mess.

Lots of stuff goes into our garbage because we have 2 small kids and these glad bags hold it all.

It is not as convenient as a drawstring, but seriously it is garbage. You tie it up and toss it out then you are finished. To pay 10 cents extra per bag for something with a drawstring in my opinion is a waste of money.

We have bought store brand bags that are similar and found that they are very thin compared, so we stick with what works.

I love this, because I live in a very isolated area where stores are hard to get to. The large amount of bags lasts forever. This is the second time I have bought this item.
