These terminal ends are exactly what I was in need of in order to make connections with small gauge wires going to D/C powered devices. I use them mainly for CCTV cameras and IR illuminators as well as various other gadgets that require an A/C adaptor. I am using a multi port power supply in order to do away with the multitude of adaptors that require a 120VAC outlet in order to get power.
These connectors are easy to use and they make a tight connection that doesn’t easily pull out.
These connectors do not require wire nuts, solder, or any other additional electrical hardware.

|Just What is Needed In A 12 Volt CCTV Male Power Adapter,
I received these from the Amazon supplier Uxcell. Uxcell has a website of their own I’ll have to check out… I also had ordered the Gino CCTV Camera 2.1×5.5mm Female Power Adapter 10 Pcs that matches these male adapters (I purchased the female adapters from Uxcell also, but not fulfilled by Amazon, and they came air mail from Hong Kong the day after the rest of my Amazon fulfilled order arrived.).
The price was very acceptable on both items, and the quality was also just fine – excellent fit and finish, and in a standard 12 volt size using a positive center connect. They were also correctly labeled on both female and male connector ends for wire polarity. All that’s needed is a small screwdriver or Phillips head driver to secure the wires – I used a small Phillips from my PC (computer) tools. They also look to accept up to 16 gauge wiring just fine, so the 18 gauge wires I was using were no problem.
I used these on multiple new Empire Security CCTV cameras I have installed outside my home, and to replace the older factory power fittings that had recently begun to act up on my security gate camera. I also used a little electrical contact grease to prevent any future corrosion. I’m very pleased with these low voltage power adapter fittings as they were exactly what I needed and they are simple to install quickly. A little added electrical tape, and I had them sealed weather tight and trouble free.

I just discovered these. They are great for converting tunnel power connectors to screw terminals. Bough a few to test, but will be getting more.
