Raw, Vegan and with Omega-3 — great additive to your meals,
I like to eat, well, actually drink a breakfast of vegetable and fruit juice, which I supplement with protein powder. It’s a fast breakfast and it makes sure that I get good nutrients to start the day. And it’s a raw meal because I like to have about half my food uncooked and with the enzymes present, especially the vegetables.
Fiber is important for digestion and also for managing cholesterol. This mixture is not only fiber, but it’s raw fiber, from sprouted mixed seeds such as sesame, chia, and flax. It has soluable fiber, which helps the cholesterol, and insoluble, good for gut health. As a result, this mixture is better than the usual psyllium seeds, which is said to be harsh and actually is not a true food source. This is food, and you get Omega-3 along with the soluble fiber to help your cardiovascular system and even for regulating blood sugar. This makes a great slurry with the juice and tastes good. The fact it is raw and organic also is said to promote good gut bacteria. Excellent product and useful especially for maintaining your health.

More palatable than psyllium husks,
Having gained 40 pounds since a hysterectomy a few years ago in spite of a good diet, I’m on a quest to find a solution to help me get back to my formerly svelte self. After reading one weight loss author who promoted psyllium and pro-biotics as one of his secrets to reducing weight and getting rid of belly fat, I was inspired to try his protocol of three servings of fiber supplement per day to push impacted stuff out.
The only problem was that I find psyllium very unpalatable. When shopping for psyllium in capsules, I found this and decided to purchase it instead. It reminds me of when I used to soak and grind up flax seeds and put warm water in it for a breakfast porridge back in my raw food days.
Right now I squeeze a lemon in some warm water and mix in the Raw Fiber and drink it. I find it very nurturing and palatable, but I think I could also add some kind of sweetener in place of the lemon juice in order to turn it into porridge as well.
Since this is the Christmas season and I’m engaging in a little seasonal overeating, I have not really weighed myself to see if I’ve lost any weight, but I do feel more space in my abdominal areas, as though things are clearing out.
I also like the fact that it also has protein (5 grams per serving) and some omega 3 fatty acids.
I would give it 5 stars, but it is expensive if you want to try doing it three times per day.

fiberific!,
What can I say? Garden of Life is the best. And Raw Fiber is the best fiber I ever had. Sure it won’t win any flavor contests, but at the same time it don’t taste bad. I mix it with my powered greens, give it a quick stir and slam it down. The fiber seems to gel if you stir or wait to long. Going to try out the Raw Meal next. Yum!
