I have been wear it for a couple of months mostly during work (about 12 hours) until i get home. I have noticed a big differences in the way i walk and i now walk with my shoulders back with out it. I now will use it one or twice a week for reminder and muscle memory. Since i now walk/stand with my shoulders back i feel like i grew an inch or two.
It takes getting use to and sometimes will rub under my arms but if you wear a thin under shirt under it you should be fine.

|Better than expected,
I’ll admit that it’s a bit pricey for some cloth and velcro, but it really is helping me keep my shoulders back. I wear it for about 2 hours a day, usually at home cooking and on the computer, and am feeling “trained” to keep my shoulders back more often, even when it’s off. I wear a tight, thin undershirt underneath it to help with the chafing under the armpits and can wear normal clothes over it. I think it actually looks nice under my regular shirts because it smooths my back and keeps my shoulders back. Overall, I would highly recommend for someone trying to correct that hunched over look like I have. As for fit, I wear a 42 bra (1X tops) and it fits fine with a slightly tighter setting.

I bought this for my elderly (80-something) mom, who was having massive upper back and shoulder pain, as a result of osteoporosis and arthritis. It helps her SO MUCH with reducing pain and giving her more upper back and shoulder support. Great product!

The Depends Silhouette Underwear is a nice surprise, as compared to the look, texture and feeling of another style of Depends I had to use once in the past (for a surgical event). I do not remember what that style of Depends was, but it was more ‘diaper-ey’ and less like cloth underwear than this new one.
This upgraded version is soft and doesn’t have that tell-tale ‘rustle of plastic’ sound. The style, in a soft peach/pink, is definitely along the lines of ‘granny panty’, but I think to provide proper coverage, that kind of thing can’t be helped. It is still an adult diaper, in the end.
I decided to try four distinct tests:
1. For my first test, I slept all night in the underwear to see how it felt. I really appreciated there was no seaming on the inside. It was smooth along all body and leg holes. That is important, as even a slight ridge becomes uncomfortable after a few hours.
2. Then I wore a pair during the day under my regular clothes to see if any puffiness was visible. I noticed that the clothes I wore obviously made a difference. Low cut pants are out, as are tight clothes like leggings. Loose fit jeans are fine, and any skirt or dress that isn’t a sheath (or otherwise too form-fitting). Adding interesting sashes around the waist helps distract any extra bulk, by drawing the eye away from the bulkier bottom of the butt area. A fashion-conscious person would want to invest in a full length mirror – or even a three way folding mirror if you were super self conscious. This un-bunchy style is about as good as it gets for this kind of product. It would not be hard to dress around it, with the above caveats noted.
3. Test three was wearing the underwear instead of a menstrual pad to see how well the product absorbed heavy blood flow and to see if the elastic belt area would contribute to cramping. I tend to be very sensitive at that time to any pressure. I found the banding is secure, without applying too much pressure over the womb area. I still prefer old underwear for those days, but if I didn’t have cramps to worry about, I would feel fine.
4. The big test. I made myself pee in them, on purpose. They collected the fluids, to a point. I don’t think these are intended as a replacement for a toilet when you have a full bladder.
Since it is never pleasant to walk around with wet legs, I’ve decided that the underwear is more for security against accidents when out and about, rather than being one’s typical place of elimination. If I was bedridden, I would use those wide flat pads, since this form of underwear cannot contain a full bladder’s worth of fluids without leaking right out the sides.

All together, if I had a minor incontinence problem, I would reach for these Depends Silhouettes before any other prior Depends product. I feel more at ease knowing I have an option like this, come the day I need them. These are comfortable, clothlike, hold light fluids reasonably well, and don’t have any irritating seams against the body.
For complete and full-on bladder containment, I would suggest reaching for an extra-strength model.
Note 1: If some of my review feels like Too Much Information, I am sorry you are offended. This IS a review about an adult diaper. The topic, by nature, is unpleasant. I still hope my being specific will help people make an informed purchase.
Note 2: When I opened this 12-pack box of products, the first thing I noticed was a faint whiff of vanilla ice cream. For some reason the underwear seems to have this aroma. It was mildly pleasant. Other people’s noses may experience this differently.

|Different use than intended, but five stars,
OK, I’m going to admit this somewhere as public as Amazon. I hope it helps someone else to have an extra review here!
Here’s the thing: I (1) have heavy periods, and (2) sometimes stay over at a family member’s home or something like that, where a nighttime leak would be mortifying. I use these instead of overnight pads, for just those few nights a month where leaks are a concern. Before the Silhouette brand came out, I was devoted to Tena, as the old Depends did NOT serve my purpose at all. These work, though, and are comfortable and ordinary enough even to wear as ordinary underwear if, say, you really really want to wear that lovely ivory skirt to work no matter what time of the month it is.
So yes, I’m giving these five stars, here in public. They’ve earned it, because they’ve saved me a lot of embarrassment–not to mention extra laundry.

I purchased a package of these for my sister to try. She loves them. She says they fit better. The fit is more like real underware, plus they also actually FEEL like real underware. She definitely prefers these to any other pullup and she’s tried quite a few different ones over the past 9-10 years.
Also, they are actually designed more like real underware. It is easy to tell the front from the back. There is NO guesswork with that. They have a label in the back and the front leg openings are cut more like normal underware.
