Good Tool for the Money,
Like any tool, you have to use it for it to work. Software does have a dated feel, but I didn’t mind it too much. It still does the job. So far the only thing I would’ve liked to see is a way to bookmark certain lessons. I find it good to review certain ones as a refresher and practice at the beginning of a session. They are easy to locate, you just need to remember which ones you liked.

Great product,
I bought this for my daughter so I am only commenting on what she told me about it, and she is a step above beginner but wanted something to go back to the basics to keep her fresh. So far she says that this is very nice software, it is helping her to play better and understand things she didn’t know easily. The instruction is very nice and of course you go at your pace. With lessons being at 40 dollars an hour a 50 dollar investment for as often as you need lessons (and this has ALOT of lessons) is well worth it. She uses this at least an hour a day and so far has needed no help whatsoever…hope this helps good luck!!

easier than using a book.,
Allows you to practice until you sound like the recorded piece. covers a lot of ground in theory as well as practice.

I love this guitar!,
I bought this as a beat up practice guitar during downtime at work. One I wouldn’t care if it got banged up a bit. It has grown to be my favorite guitar to play when the mood strikes. It’s small, yes it hums a bit on E (I just took a piece of sandpaper to the nut and it was fine) and it takes a beating. I’ve taken it on planes. My kids have knocked into it. It’s been bumped into walls, cuz the travel case for it is a joke, and it still keeps ticking. For a lefty, it’s not bad since most lefty guitar are much more expensive than a standard right. It has grown on me and though I have a Les Paul and countless other guitars to play, I go back to this one again and again.
Be prepared for starers, it does look a little strange. It’s about the size of a baritone uke. It’s quieter than a full-size, but that’s to be expected. That is what I wanted. I had to drill out the pegs the first time I changed the strings because they were in a little wonky. But it’s solid, it has a nice easy neck, and the action is pretty low, which I like. It takes some getting used to for holding, since the body is smaller in your lap. You can either use a strap or hold your strumming hand lower. I had no problems with either and fashioned a piece of leather for a strap, since a regular strap is just too big. The only thing I wish it had was a pick guard. Other than that, perfect.
If you’re a seasoned player, you may hate it. But it’s no Taylor. If you’re a beginner like me, it’s great. And my spouse, who’s been playing for 20 years…. well, he likes it too. For the price, I couldn’t have asked for better. It’s not some cheapy piece of you know what you’d get at Wally-World, but it’s a solid instrument that holds its own.

Please don’t waste your hard earned cash,
Ok bought this for travel and now I am thinking about using it for a baseball bat during my workouts, Looks nice but MAJOR fret buzz on the Low E string, along with minor fret buzz on all others but the high E. Yes, I tried changing strings with little or no improvement. Sorry, but its just not worth the price. UNLESS maybe just maybe you are playing flight of the bumble bees, all the buzzing will fit in just right.

Junk!,
When I received this guitar I had high expectations and was really let down. It doesn’t stay tuned and the worst part is how extremely heavy the fret board is. It makes it impossible the play without a shoulder strap. Disappointing.
