I am not an EMT nor do I have medical training. Speaking strictly as a former boy scout with basic first aid certification I feel this kit would be helpful in administering first aid for reduction of bleeding and stabilization of wounds until help from trained medical personnel arrives. The amount of serious trauma oriented materials in here will go well beyond your standard household emergency, but the price is very reasonable so why not have a kit like this ready? I would like to see an inventory included with the kit but I could not find one, so I made my own table of contents by pouch. The kit is divided into 6 equally sized pouches, and here is what I found in each of the pouches on the kit I recieved:

Truly Professional First Aid,
Growing up, my Mom was a nurse so her first aid kit was literally like a surgical suite. Most commercial first aid kits are a joke and a waste of money. This one is worth every penny! Throw in some quickclot, israeli bandages, an aluminum splint, some chest seals, and a dental kit and you are ready for almost anything!
There is no harm in being slightly overly prepared.

m-71 medic kit.,
i was looking at the s.t.o.m.p. trauma kit, but it is priced around $500. so i did some comparison. i ordered the m-71 kit seen here. then went online to a medical supply and ordered $50 more equipment. the m_71 plus what i ordered now superceeds the stomp and for $300 cheaper. i now have a heavy trauma kit that i keep around the home and take with me everywhere i go. this is easy to unfold to get to the 3 zippered layers. it is light to carry and is a rugged case. if you want a very good 1st aid kit that is a heavy use to carry in your car.
