I used this trolly on a trip to Europe with my parents to cart around a heavy backpack of water/picnic food during the day. I have back problems and can’t carry heavy stuff for too long. The trolly was light and could fold up small enough to fit along with the backpack in the tiny lockers they had at tourist sites and museums. The wheels were quite sturdy even after taking a lot of abuse (gravel, cobblestone, and rocky dirt paths). The wheels are kind of shielded so that they won’t splatter mud on you on a rainy day. My parents took the trolly back with them and had no trouble getting through security and navigating the narrow aisles of airplanes.

The only things that I didn’t like were that: A) The part that your stuff rests on is low and I was worried about my backpack getting wet on rainy days since it was quite close to the ground. B) The wheels are hard plastic so that they make a lot of noise when you roll it over uneven surfaces such as brick sidewalks. C) When going over a step, such as from the sidewalk to the street, this thing is very unstable if you go too quick and both wheels don’t hit the ground at the same time. It would tilt violently from the left wheel to the right wheel and finally tip over to one side if I didn’t stop to stabilize it. This was extremely frustrating as it would happen while I was crossing the street. This even happened for steps with small height differences. Bigger wheels would probably solve this problem but also increase the size at the same time.

I wanted the trolley for a soft briefcase filled with a rather large laptop, Nook, camera, etc…. electronics that get heavy carting around on your shoulder. It worked great. The only problem was it didn’t want to stay snapped open at the 90 degree angle when standing stationary. The bungee straps were pulling so that it kept wanting to close up. That would probably NOT be a problem with a more flat-bottom suitcase. I brought it thru security and wheeled my briefcase (turned upright) right onto the plane. It folds down so flat that the trolley AND my briefcase fit under the seat.

This is a lovely little product. I can carry it using one finger, and it easily expands to haul multiple cartons pretty well loaded. Folds to 10×18 inches, very compact.
