Good book,
At first I thought this was the last book in the series. Thank god it wasn’t. I would have got a refund if it had. Total cliffhanger that really would have upset me. Left so many questions still unanswered as well as new ones. Thankfully she will be making another one. Overall a great series but the total cliffhanger at the end of each book totally has you screaming when you finish it.. Especially if there wasn’t another one coming…

Very good, meaty story,
This is more horror than fantasy, but for me that’s a good thing! The main characters are very good, and overall it’s a great story. But be warned that it ends on a cliffhanger that is resolved in the next book (I hope!)

Terrible!!,
This book was not a good read for me. I will not be buying the second series. Yes it did have a lot of grammar issues but that was not the problem for me. I did not enjoy the story. I found myself just reading on, hoping it might get better, but it never did. Rarely were there any questions answered. The title of the book should’ve been “I can’t tell you”, because anytime any of the characters asked a question that was the answer. And the book ended this way as well. Also Sophie’s development of relationships just seemed unbelievable. Without giving any details away it seemed like the author was trying to add sex and romance into the book without any substance or build up. It was like, nice to meet you, wanna see my boobs. So obviously this was not the book for me, but it still got good reviews as well. So maybe it will work better for you.
