I bought this cooler for an Oct camping trip. Little did I know it was going to stick around in the 80-85′s the entire 4 days we were camping! I had brought 2 coolers with us, this one and a beer cooler. The beer cooler was melted by day 2. This one still had ice. So we transferred all the beer into this one. I’m suprised everything fit. After multiple openings and closings, all the food was still cold and there was still ice in it when we left the site. I was impressed and will highly reccomend this product to anyone.

We purchased this cooler to replace a 13-year old 100qt. Coleman that didn’t seem to keep ice for more than two days while warm weather camping. This one didn’t do much better with the ice in this new one. The second time out, we even tried putting all the drinks in the fridge for a day prior to putting them in the cooler as suggested. At most, we got 3 days in 90 degree heat before it was all water. However, the wheeled design is VERY nice. I’d recommend this cooler, but if you’re looking to keep ice for 5 days as advertised, this just doesn’t work as well as Coleman would have you believe.

A large logo/sticker on the side of the chest says “5 Day Cooler”, I have purchased some of these before and never….I say Never, has one held up like this one. The size is perfect for my boat, fits between two long couch seats. Easily maneuverable, sturdy handles, and great drain plug.

We filled up the cooler with drinks, 20ibs of ice and hit the water. Spent the day on the lake in the sun, loaded the boat and headed home. Placed the cooler in the bed of my truck under a black topper (it gets very hot under there) and six days later unloaded it to clean it out. I expected melted water, luke warm, but what I found was remaining ice! The drinks were still cold after 6 days, most of those days were in the lower 90′s in Texas.

Overall a great cooler. I would suggest reinforcements for the wheels – I noticed one of mine were a little loose, but pushed it back in and seems ok for now. I do not buy a cooler to “baby” around, they definitely get used like a cooler should! I know this one will hold up well.
