I bought this in a size small to wear to car shows and rockabilly events in the summer (not for Halloween), and it fits me perfectly (5’4″ ~125lbs, it’s short like it shows on the model). The material is what you’d expect from a costume, but it’s thicker than other costumes I’ve owned, I can see myself sweating in this in the sun in July. I recommend ordering a petticoat to wear with this if you don’t own one already. And be aware there is no zip in the back, so you have to drop this baby over your head (if you’re hippy like me) or step into it. The red strip is shiny red ribbon and what they don’t show in the pictures is the blue and white striped part comes over your head and is like a bib in the back (really cute!), it drapes over the top hem of the dress (which sits mid-back) to hide your bra or whatever else you’re hiding under there.

I am not size tiny, being that I am 5’9″ with 36 DDD top portions. I decided to get an XL to get everything in the right place. It is very cute and made of thick-stretchy material. I am happy I got this because it is long enough and covers enough to feel sassy, but not slutty.

|Great costume but arrived in bad condition.,
I loved this costume. It fit me just right being that according to the sizing chart I am a size Large but I ordered a medium [5'1 in height, chest is 36', waist is 31', and my hips 41'] usually the large would be too loose on me so I went with my gut. Thank god I did! The material used to make the costume felt expensive not like cheap cotton which I loved. Now what disappointed me: there was a medium dirt spot on the white cloth for the breast area which will be needing cleaning. Also one of the golden buttons had been pulled off, thankfully it was in the packaging so I am assuming it was ruffled while in storage or maybe it was a used product? I am assuming this because of the greyish spot on the breast area. It seems to be a finger print. But overall these are fixable issues so I am a happy customer. I would give this 4 stars but I feel that being a “new” product this shouldn’t have any stains…PERIOD. And it lost another star due to packaging.
