Beautiful Painting…. BUT,
The painting is Beautiful. I thought it would be bigger but it isn’t. The oil painting still smells of fresh oil paint and will take months to get rid of. The smell of the fumes is very strong so I have to open a window with an exhaust fan just to deal with it. I guess this is normal for oil paintings, but I’m not sure since it’s my first oil painting I’ve ever bought. The packaging was horrible, the wooden frame it was mounted on was broken in the center piece. I’d return it but it would take too long to receive another painting from China. Minus 2 stars for the broken wood frame, poor packaging, and strong smell. Otherwise, looks great!

I received this painting two days ago, and it looks magnificent! The large portion was very slightly warped which made for a frustrating hanging experience (Not visibly warped, but warped just enough to make me re-hang the right side 6 times before getting it ‘exactly’ right), but I don’t think that’s a terribly unusual experience for hand crafted art. It came with a BONUS hand drawn picture(!!!) of some bamboo reed which I promptly had framed and also displayed in the room.
It arrived in the exact middle of the delivery window, and it was wrapped VERY securely. It took me almost 15 minutes to get it all undressed once I had it out of the box. Upon ordering, the seller promptly contacted me via email to give me a sales order # and let me know where to go in case of any delivery-related questions.
It looks fantastic, had BONUS art, arrived on time, and I am very satisfied with this piece.
