Excellent project plans,
Only had one day to look this over, but it is filled with excellent project plans of all types. The projects vary in difficulty and any woodworker could fine something to make from this book. Even the plans that call for high skill techniques could be easily adapted for simpler skills. Some plans call for specific components from various suppliers. I.E. clock mechanisms. If specific parts are not available, the plans look like they can be adapted for what is available. Overall a great book to get ideas and plan.

good book,
Good book, has lots of ideas for woodworking, very neat and strange things to build. very informative and easy to do. You can switch things up and do it your way. Gives you ideas to do your own thing.

Way to simplified,
The title “Weekend Woodworkers Project Collection” is a rank beginners book with projects for literally a weekend. I was hoping for some simple projects but this is filled with clocks, picture frames, frames, boxes, mirrors. Only 2 projects were somewhat interesting 3 bookcases. If you need tables, dressers, beds, or chairs: look elsewhere. Very little info on finishing, tips. “Mission Furniture You Can Build” is somewhat better but the pictures are poorly printed and are clearly dated. Good tips on “getting Started” covering joints, some history, finishes. More projects on actual furniture and thankfully less frames, wall hangings, clocks, etc. I would give it a 3 star.
