Almost Glowbies,
We love Glowbies but they are kind of pricy. These are pretty much the same thing but a few differences. First instead of a barrette type clip they have a toothed spring clip. Second the batteries look bigger. Third the battery compartment is bigger. Finally they are less expensive than Glowbies. While they will not tuck into your hair as well or hide in hair as well as Glowbies we think they will last longer due to larger batteries. Also the spring clip allows for more mounting options. They clip nicely to a hat, clothing, or belt. Not only does the fiber optic strands light up but the battery compartment get lit up too. We like that. They are plenty bright for evening wear. High hopes for this product and look forward to playing with them.

|Wish the clip was better,
I bought this for my daughter to wear to the lights parade. She loves the colors and wearing it, just wished they made the hair clip better. The clip isn’t that good and it doesn’t stay in her hair.

I bought the package of 6 to wear to an upcoming music concert. They are battery-operated with an easy on/off switch. They are beautiful and functional and easy to use. I loved the pic of the girl wearing them around her hair-bun. It’s actually what inspired me to purchase.
