Great for the price, especially with an easy fix,
These boxes are priced right and fast to assemble. However, they also tend to separate in the front when loaded up with magazines (which may be one of the most dense items on earth). The separation is probably fine if you’re not taking the boxes on and off the shelves regularly and if you pack them tightly side-by-side, but I found that a 12″ piece of clear packing tape held the front securely together so that they seem to now be stronger and more durable than my all-cardboard versions with higher strength ratings and twice the price tag.

Inexpensive, but effective,
I don’t want to call this product “cheap” because you defintiely get a lot of value. Why pay $12 for one magazine holder when you can get something for so much less? Okay, they’re not pretty… but they’re perfect for an office, library, or whatever.
Plus, they’re environmentally friendlier than a plastic case and won’t stay in a landfill for 10,000 years.
The only reason I’m giving this 4-stars is because there is this tab (not depicted) that holds the boxes together, and that tab ripped on one of the six boxes I assembled. I’d bet out of a 12-count of these, you’ll get ten that are actually usable. Still good value for the money.

Teacher’s Book Shelf,
I’m a kindergarten teacher and was in search of a way to organize my children’s book in my classroom. I ordered 3 packages. They work very well. Although, since they’re made out of cardboard, I have to be careful that the books don’t weigh that much or the boxes give out at the bottom when I take them off the shelf. The nice thing about the cardboard is that since my shelves are not that tall, I was able to cut the tops so they fit perfectly on the shelves. I plan on buying more soon to finish organizing the entire bookshelf.
