    A MUST For Any Skier Who Owns A PS2…, November 9, 2008

As a Neanderthal-like skier who detests the idea of locking a big board to my feet, I was quite pleased to find this title that has no half-pipes or rails. In fact, this is just an incredibly realistic and challenging game depicting an equally difficult sport; flying down a mountain at 80+ mph on two waxed planks is not for the squeamish. Bode Miller is a bit addictive as well for the dedicated player – you’ll soon find yourself trying to master that particularly nasty turn you always miss on Chamonix, hiring better skiing coaches and waxers, improving your career stats and money, and just kicking serious butt on the many runs. Downhill, Slalom, Giant Slalom, Super G… they’re all here and provide extra challenges for you to keeping mastering. And one of the best things about this game is that you are the only real enemy. That is to say, there’s no impossible puzzles or ruthless enemy AI to contend with; if you miss a turn and wipe out, it’s your fault. You can practice all you want, but in a big tournament if you screw up just once, you have only yourself to blame.

I’m a Olympic enthusiast, and when I heard about this game I thought it was going to be another one of those games that sits around.

Nope! far from it,its a very addictive game

and very realistic..Although the announcers are a bit annoying, the game is fun in itself.

Never skied before? try this game, and you may be convinced

Refreshing title, great retail price, good graphics, good control, challenging difficulty, fair role playing (limited customization, no women atletes included), sound is under average (not exciting, lacks customization options), no custom track mode, no multiplayer (offline or online). If you are getting tire of the same old racing, xtreme sports, football, basketball, soccer, hockey and figthing titles, this one is one for your collection.
