These suspenders are made of fabric with too much elasticity. They don’t work to hold my pants up. There is also Velcro for adjusting length that rubs against bare skin and sticks you (if worn under shirts). I like this company’s other products a lot. I just wouldn’t recommend this particular item.

…but now I’ll never wear a belt again. Takes a bit of thought to the process of wearing them under a shirt (no need to do a George Castanza in the rest room), but not hard to get the hang of it. You do have to be flexible enough to reach behind and attach the rear clips. Have to remember to slide the back clips almost around to the side, to avoid sitting on them. The clips do not come off accidentally, but are easy to open and close. Completely unobtrusive; no one at work has guessed that I’m wearing them. No worries about fumbling with a belt at the airport. The straps are soft but do occasionally grab a hair, but not a big deal. That wouldn’t be a problem if they were worn over an undershirt. I prefer these over regular suspenders because I like to wear casual shirts that aren’t intended to be tucked in at the waist. It’s such a relief to get rid of the uncomfortable belt; I’ll certainly be getting another set of these soon.

Hold-Up suspenders just work. I have never ever had a single surprise unfastening with any of my Hold-Up suspenders, with either the standard “NO-SLIP” clip or the airport friendly “No-Buzz’ clip. My Undergarment suspenders are made of thinner more discreet material that is much less obvious under a t-shirt. Hold-Up has truly addressed some common problems with suspenders that before now we just had to live with.
