I was not happy when I received this costume. It was not at all like the picture. I wanted it because the head piece was 1 piece. When I received it in the mail, it was so ugly it was not the same one that was in the picture. The one I received had a head cap and a mask that was too tight to my 3 year olds head it hurt his eyes. But I couldnt send it back because my 3 year old seen it and was so excited about Spiderman, he wanted to put it on and didnt want to take. So I had to keep it. Later at Target I found that real one in the picture for $19.99.

My 3 yo son completely freaked out when he saw this costume. We bought it on August 18 after one month of him begging us to get a Spider-man costume. It was so much fun. He was trying to climb the walls in the living room. The costume has “muscles” which is completely hysterical! TOO FUNNY!!! We could barely get it off of him to take a bath. This coupled with a pair of [...] Spider-man gloves to match are the bees knees. Unbelievable fun for a 3 year old!!! And for us, also!!! Get out your video camera for this one, folks!

How cute is this costume for my 3 year old son, who is completely enamored with super heroes. My son loves it.

The downfall, the stitching comes undone within a few minutes of wearing it. There’s a hole in the crotch of the costume, in the hips of the costume, and the legs are splitting and unraveling due to what I can only suspect is due to a shoddy stitch job.
I go buy an outfit for $5 at Wal-mart. I expect that it won’t last. But, somehow, a crappy $5 outfit from Wal-mart fares better than an almost $30 costume for a toddler.

Overall, the costume is great. My son loves it, it makes him happy, and I can hardly get the thing off him long enough to do my home repair stitching. But, the fact remains, I purchased this in hopes that my son would be able to use it for his dress-up play time, and instead, I’m constantly repairing a crappy sewing job.

One day, someone ought to realize that if they’re going to charge almost $30 for a toddler’s costume, then they better make sure that it will last and hold up to an actual toddler and their need to dress up and act out as their favorite characters. As it stands, this costume has the staying power of a doughnut in a police department.
