I would give this item one star, but “I hate it” is a bit strong. Something more along the lines of “I have been totally had by the system” seems right to the point. This LITTLE item from Suset Vista is a total ripoff. First, the picture indicates that for eight dollars and change, you will get THREE plant picks. Well, YOU ONLY GET ONE PICK! I could really kick myself. I spend a certain amount of time writing up reviews on the items that I purchase in hopes that something I have to say will spur someone on to a good purchase and save another person from the hassle of getting something bad and having the hassle of returning it. Or worse, having someone keep something they hate because they do not want to take the time and effort to send it back. I have read many a review where a person states “I would have sent it back but it was too much trouble, I did not save the box, or I did not know how.” I feel for them. Figuring out the system takes some doing, but it is not hard and can be done. I did, so can you. But, back to this pick thing. SOMEONE ELSE HAD TAKEN THE TROUBLE TO WRITE THIS UP. I am destroyed because I did not read what they said: There is only one pick. Furthermore, upon close inspection, it looks like I could make this thing out of a couple of old cans with the dexterous use of tin snips. Add a stick and a spring for the “ladybug” and you are in business. Whoever is selling these things to those of us who do not send them back is making a fortune. Mine is going back and quickly and Amazon will pay because the item is “not as shown.” After they get 6-12 of these things popped back at them, OR, if they quit selling, perhaps they will quit trying to sell us one tacky little widget for more than $8. Even if you have all the world’s money, it is a waste to buy this. So back it goes and I hope the next person is wiser than I and reads this review and the one before it and stops his finger before he pushes the button that says “buy”!!!! Usually Amazon sells such nice things. I was amazed when this little item appeared. It is awful. Ok. Ok. Ok. I have made my point. I do not like this at all. The End. Oh, and from now on, I promise to read other peoples reviews before I buy. The End.

The plant picks are fine, but the picture displays 3 and you will only receive one. I was quite disappointed by this discovery.

|Don’t buy it!,
I totally agree with what has been said. I only bought this item because it was on someone’s wish list…I got it for her for Christmas. I just hope she is not as desperately disappointed as I was. Piece of junk is how I would describe it. Also, when this one arrived, the stake/stick part was bent. I plan to give it as the gift, but I will look closely at all future “outdoor” purchases and will NEVER buy from this company again. Not Amazon, they are just the middle man here, but Sunset Vista…shame on you!!
