Great Outdoor Twine,
Not that 475 feet isn’t a lot, but honestly I was quite suprised by how small this ball of twine is. I did not measure it, but I have no reason to doubt that it is actually right around 475 feet so I have no real complaint there. I was sceptical buying this product because there were no reviews speaking to its outdoor qualities. Thus far it has exceeded my expectations for holding up some fairly heavy climbing rose stems. I say heavy because we are about 6 month later than we should have been tieing up the stems so they have grown long and have large rose bundles on them. This 10-ply string appears to hold true and after a couple months has not failed on any of the stems we have tied up.

The little string that could…,
I was a little hesitant to purchase this product because it’s description did not fit the product that I had been using. That twine is alas all gone, and the local store where I bought it, has gone out of business. The new string looks, and feels puny, by comparison, but looks are deceiving, because this string does the intended job oh so well!! Bundling newspaper, catalogs, magazines, and right now 2012 calendars which arrive by the handful each and everyday in the mailbox. They all get separated, and bundled to be recycled, That’s the ultimate reason for my purchase. Thanks as always to Amazon, and their employees’ who make this all happen, so well, and so quickly too.

I live in NYC and in order to get rid of my boxes I have to break them down and then twine them up before I can place them outside. The knots stay and it works insofar as me bundling up boxes and then getting them six flights down! For other purposes I have no idea what you’d use this stuff for
!
