Good but need more.,
Have been looking at some automation projects around the house and I already use the arduino in a limited capacity. The book shares numerous projects to help get someone started in this direction. After looking at some of the projects I realized that I didn’t need so much computing power at the input side of the automation projects I had in mind. I basically needed an open or closed signal sent. I also started to make my wishlist longer and decided I would like to view those open or closed signals from my smart phone. The book does cover remotely viewing, with a computer, changes in the system and can be accessed online. I’ve decided to look at the xbee hardware a little more closely for my projects but it probably wouldn’t have come to mind if I hadn’t looked at this book first. Next book will be Building Wireless Sensor Networks: with ZigBee, XBee, Arduino, and Processing.
