I bought this tent for my Thomas-crazy 20-month old daughter. (Well, she’s had it for a few months, I guess she was about 18 months old when she got it). She is such a Thomas-fan, a smile spread on her face just from seeing the picture of Thomas on the outside of the box that this train came in.

Well, it was really easy to set the tent up, and it fits in our living room, it fits in her room … in our back yard … it’s very much portable, it collapses into a very neat little carrying bag and I’m even considering taking it on vacations with us.

At first, my toddler thought it was a little scary to crawl into the tent, she preferred the outside of it where she could see Thomas. To encourage her to try crawling inside, we added a mattress (one of those thing rubber-type mattresses that are meant for naps) and some of her favorite toys inside the train. THEN she finally got it!
She felt safe crawling in and out of the tent, and now she loves it. She’ll be sitting inside the train for quite a long time, just playing by herself with her toys or puzzles and she loves it.
It’s her own little private hide-away, and my husband and I definitely believe that just because she’s only a toddler doesn’t mean she doesn’t need some time to herself once in awhile.

I love this tent, I will definitely recommend it to anyone with kids, ESPECIALLY if they like Thomas.
They do have carts that add on, but as of right now, I honestly don’t see the need for the extra train carts. The locomotive is more than enough for her and the carts would take up too much room anyway.

    So … yeah …. a must-have for any Thomas-loving toddler ;-)

I bought this for my son’s second birthday. It only lasted one day before it ripped completely across the top. I have two very energetic boys (2 & 3) who play roughly and wrestle. They loved to play in the tent, but unfortunately it didn’t hold up. I know that they are to blame, but if you have boys who won’t simply sit in the tent and play, then you may want something more substantial.

I have never did a review before but I decided that I would share a review of this product to any moms, dads, grandma’s and grandpa’s out there that have little Thomas the Train fans in their lives! My four year old has just about every Thomas and friends trains but lacked a really Big Thomas the Train toy. Most of the ride on toys are not size appropriate for a 4 year old…they are just way too small. This Thomas the Train is GREAT! Nice size for a 4 year old and the best thing is that you can unfold when using and fold back up when finished. Oh, and don’t let the reviews scare you about not being able to fold it back up…it’s probably because they are not doing it properly, there is a technique taught by playhut on how to properly fold all playhut tents….It is VERY EASY to do trust me. (you can you tube “how to fold playhut products” and there are plenty of demonstrations. This is a great present to any little Thomas the Train lover!

This is a nice sturdy light. It has a very simple and appealing design. I was looking for a design that matched the curves on the handles on my shower door and this one fit the bill perfectly. I was a bit surprised by the size of the glass orbs, as was everyone else that has made the purchase too from their reviews, but I believe they do help radiate the light more effectively. The unit came with 100w bulbs in EACH one; meaning this thing is pumping out 200 watts of light and it generates a good amount of radiant heat around it as well.

I had to initially return the package the first time I received it because it was slightly off. I suggest you examine all the pieces first before you install it; you need to measure the distance between the two curved arms and see if they match up; this will tell you that they’re parallel. If they’re not, you’ll see this optical curve from the ground that will suspiciously bother you till the end of time, and unless you use a sundial that can be a long long time.

This is definitely a very nice light, and I’m rather glad now that I didn’t get the 3-bulb or 4-bulb action cause I can’t image 300 or 400 watts directed down on my head over the bathroom sink; am I in a very bad Broadway play or trying to create a tanning booth directed to my head?

Kichler Structures 2 Bulb Brushed Nickel, May 31, 2007

This is a lovely fixture that looks exactly as it does in the picture. Thought the 100w bulbs would be too bright, but the pretty shades mute the intensity. I love the sculptural appearance and it’s not just for a bathroom. I put mine over the sink in the kitchen and it looks spectacular! Great item!! You wont be disappointed!

I like this vanity light a lot, however, it is a bit bigger (the globes at least) then I anticipated. it also lets out a lot of heat, which is fine with me since I live in a cold weathered climate!

For the most part I love it, wish I had more info about the size of the globes, otherwise fantastic!
