Off The Grid Hydroponics – No Power Needed

Off The Grid Hydroponics - No Power Needed

This book was written to explain the Kratky method of hydroponics. The Kratky method refers to growing plants in a nutrient solution as you would in hydroponics however you do not use an air stone and the roots are mostly submerged at all times in the solution. This method is possible with many different plants and works very well for growth.

I was hoping for more here. What I got was a very simplistic overview and little in the way of details. At least I didn’t have to pay for it. Looks easy though…

This is clear, succinct and well written. And it’s enjoyable too! I’m glad I gave it a try; well done.

I got this for free this morning. It is more of a pamphlet than a book.

It has a fair number of writing errors, but the content seems solid.

I have not tried his growing method, but it seems like a much simpler and cheaper system than the more elaborate hydroponic systems that rely on electricity to keep them going.
