More like lightweight hobby leather,
I bought this to make belt sheaths for the custom knives I produce. Upon arrival, I must say the leather is lighter weight that I anticipated, but in fairness, one mans medium weight is an others light. The real issue I have is the holes they included on my piece. While this is most generous of them, I simply had no need to accumulate more at this time as I have a surplus. The holes were marked in pen which I thought was kind but unnecessary given the size and prominent location of each. Obviously, during the too thin splitting process holes were cut that quality control apparently caught but elected to send on.
This is the sort of leather found in hobby scrap bags and not a item I’d recommend….

the medium thickness is about as thin as my levis. I glued 3 together to make the scabard I purchased it for.

|was not what I though I purchased,
The color of the leather was a peach color. I now have to dye the leather and that’s going to take time and money. What comes shipped is not what’s pictured.
