This case has exceeded my expectations. I got it sooner than promised. It’s a snug fit for my phone and the phone (Casio Commando) still slides in and out easily. I’m physically active so the belt loop is a necessity for me and so far it has passed each test.

This case fits my Casio Commando perfectly! Purchased from NewYorkCellPhone and received within 72 hours.

    Pros:
-Super heavy duty case. This thing is built like a tank!
-Belt loop slot is large enough to accommodate a REAL belt. Most cases allow only room for a thin belt.
-Metal belt clip will outlast my phone, belt and probably me too!
-Does NOT have a magnetic closure to interfere w/ charging pins on Casio Commando. Magnetic cases will trick the phone into thinking it’s in a docking station
-Has a Velcro closure and plastic lock clip. I usually don’t click it shut. When you close the case the Velcro works just fine.

    Cons:
    Not even 1!

Worth every cent! If you have a Casio Commando then this IS the only case that will do.

For tough environments, not for everyday, August 12, 2011

The Casio G’Zone is already a tough phone but this case protects it more than any other “nice” case could.

As opposed to my everyday case for the phone I only use this case if I’m bike riding or hiking. It would also be a good case when doing work or sports outdoors like hunting or construction. The snap clip is somewhat of an overkill since the case already has a large band of Velcro that keeps it safely closed. It’s hard to imagine what kind of blow would be rip the Velcro open. I’m guessing that if you get hit like that, wondering whether the snap closure keeps the phone inside or not is going to be the least of your problems.

That snap closure does make it just a tad extra hard to get the phone out when it rings, and leaving it open just makes it dangle a little. Otherwise, this a a tough abrasion resistant case for a phone that’s already tough and waterproof.
