small enough to take anytime,
I don’t do well taking most vitamins; I end up feeling nauseous if I take them without enough food in my stomach or too long before I go to bed. With these Deva Tiny Tabs I don’t have that problem – I can take them any time of day, with or without food, and not feel ill at all! I am very glad that I can take a multivitamin consistently instead of skipping or forgetting it because of the inconvenient side effects most multis have for me.

Missing Enough Iron,
O.K. I bought these vitamins because everyone said they were great. Everyone said the size was fantastic, and what they contained was marvelous, but nobody was very specific. In all the reviews I checked, nobody bothered to talk about was was actually in these vitamins, in terms of vitamins.
To make a long story short, Vegan’s have the most problem getting B12 and Iron, both things in animal products but usually not in plants. So, I would expect, at the least, for a vegan vitamin to have 100% of the RDA for Iron and B12. Nope. On vitamin B12, this DOES have 100% of the daily value. The RDA is 2.6 mcg and this vitamin has 6 mcg. O.K. Not bad. Most recommend that you get much more than this, but at least it is the RDA value, or a bit higher.
Now iron. The RDA varies for men and women but is around 8 mg/day for a 19 – 70 year old man and 18 mg/day for a 19 to 50 year old woman. This vitamin contains 1.8 mg. So less than 25% for a man and 10% for a women. To make matters worse, vegans sometimes don’t absorb iron well, so the amount you may need could be higher.
I am not a doctor, but in the book “Vegan for Life” written by two registered dietitians, They recommend “at least” 25 mcg of vitamin B-12 per day and the RDA for Vegans if not a little more due to the poor absorption.
I could go on with other vitamins, like zinc, vitamin D, etc. but let me just say, these vitamins are not adequate for a Vegan, even in the best case situation.
So yes they are tiny, which is a plus, and apparently enough to make most reviewers happy, but I’m giving them 1 star because they don’t do the job.
The reviews here make me a bit mad, because not one I read actually rated the vitamin content of these, and isn’t that WHY you by vitamins in the first place?

Finally, an easy-to-swallow multivitamin!,
I love these vitamins. They are exactly what I need and I recommend them for anyone! They are 100% vegetarian, so no disgusting fish oil or other nasty ingredients.
The best part is that they really ARE tiny. I have problems swallowing pills, and I cannot believe the huge size of some of the vitamins I see when I am shopping. The rounded shape of these vitamins took me by surprise at first, but they are a breeze to swallow.
