PLAY THE TUTORIAL. Seriously. They give really good useful tips, and get you used to a fairly complex work flow compared to plunging in and discovering on your own. You’ll need those skills almost immediately that you learn in the tutorial.

This game is freakishly addicting, and if you’re one of those who likes a casual game you can pick up, and get into really quickly, and play for fun, this is your game. In it, you are an air traffic controller. Don’t be fooled by the child-like drawing of the cartoon plane. This is suitable for adults as well as children. There’s a point system, whereby you earn a certain amount of points for doing various things. Those stack throughout the game. There’s also a money system. Every time a flight comes in early, you get money bonuses. When you stack combos (like landing the same airplane at the same coloured gate) you get more bonuses in cash. The cash can be used to buy upgrades to the airport level you’re working on.

CAVEAT: The money doesn’t travel with you. Just because you did well in ________ airport doesn’t mean that you’ll have those bonuses going with you. The upgrades that you bought for the one airport stay in that one airport. This makes it all the more challenging, and encourages you to replay a level until you’ve gotten proficient at it.

Definitely a fun game that you should try.

If you like Time Management games and don’t already own Airport Mania, this is a must have. With good graphics, cute sound effects, with fun and addictive gameplay. You won’t be disappointed with this game.

I first played this game on my phone and couldn’t put it down. When I showed it to my wife she purchased a copy immediately. When we found out that we could play it on our MacBook Pro, we love the game even more. There is just something better about playing this game with a mouse compared to the touch screen. This is a game we love so much we bought it twice.

We haven’t found any bugs or annoyances mentioned by the previous reviewers here on Amazon. If we do, we’ll be sure and update our review.

The game works fine on my Mac Book Pro, and the download and installation was easy and pain free. The game reminds of me a timed puzzle game where I had to consistently need to ensure that colored planes are accessing the correct gate. Even at the easy levels, I found my self needing to scramble to ensure that my planes were arriving and departing correctly. The music and the art is very simple. It is a game I see myself playing through the levels in short breaks.
