I love these things and the fact that they come in 10 different colors is truly awesome. I discovered AFTER I bought these what the difference was between a regular stylus that I’d been using and capacitive styluses. I didn’t even realize that these were any different than any other stylus I bought other than they were mini in size. For my small fingers, they rock. I had a stylus given to me by my DIL when the rubber on mine tore and it sucked. My Kindle Fire wouldn’t recognize that I was using the stylus, it would skip all over the place and that’s really annoying when you’re using an app. Well, I noticed a review on this after I had already purchased these styluses so I asked the reviewer what the difference was. He said that the tip of these conduct electricity through your fingers to the tip creating a constant connection (or something to that effect – I’m paraphrasing really poorly so if I’ve screwed it up, I apologize) that works better than a standard stylus. Well let me tell you what – I have NEVER had a stylus that was as responsive as this one is. It’s like it’s reading my mind through my fingers and hand.
Totally recommend this to anyone with small fingers who needs a new stylus – that and the fact that you get 10 and they are cheap means you get your pick of the color you want to use

|generic ones not as good as previous ones,
My first order of this product was a brand name and are wonderful. They stay in the phone and so do not get lost.
I reordered so I could give them to friends since everyone who sees them wants one. The second order was a generic brand. They look different and they fall out of the phone immediately. If you go back to the original, I would like more since I gave away so many of my first order thinking I would be able to obtain more. If anyone at Amazon is actually reading this, please let me know if I can order the original ones.

They are a bit shorter than I had anticipated, but the ad copy DOES say “mini,” after all. I love the fact that they attach to the earphone jack. I have bought several capacitive stylus (stylii? styluses? Whatever) over the past couple of years and I invariably end up losing them.
These fit quite snugly into the earphone jack and seem to be built to stay put. The only drawback is that the cord is so short that you must detach the stylus to use it. Wish it were longer so it could just stay attached while being used.
A little warning that should be obvious, but apparently wasn’t to me anyway: When the stylus is plugged into the jack, the speakers won’t work. I use my tablet at night to play “white noise” at my bedside and I spent about ten minutes turning the tablet off and on and debating if my sound system had blown. Then it dawned on me that the tablet was routing the sound to the earphone jack since something was occupying that space. Pulled the stylus and the speakers activated. This is not a complaint, just a little warning for folks like me who might get thrown off by that.
True, they are not built to be handed down to your next of kin, but they only cost a couple of bucks. For they price, they are well worth it, and the “stay-put” design is clever. I have bought single styluses before for about this price, only to promptly lose them within a couple weeks. For the same price, I can get ten and I can hold onto them!
